has been over my house the last three days. Micah left with his grandma on Thursday to go visit his cousins in Southern Ohio until this coming Tuesday. While we have been apart before, never for this long and never when we don't have anything to do. I will admit to shedding quite a few tears and doing things around the house as if he were going to walk down the stairs any minute, but it has been a nice time for Addie to bond with just Tim and I. We had a play date, went out to eat twice, went to the bookstore, did crafts, painted our nails (ok- just Addie and I on that one) and just had a lot of cuddle time that we don't get all that often when there are two kids to deal with.
Micah has been having a blast from the reports we have been hearing. We have yet to talk to him as he has either been busy or almost ready for bed so a quick Grandma update has held us over for now. He has gotten to go out to eat, go bowling and today he was going skating for the first time. I didn't get any phone calls about broken bones so I am hoping things went well :) My little guy is growing up... in just a little over two weeks he will be 5... which is quite hard to believe!! gone are the days of his total dependence on me. It is crazy how quickly time passes...
