The family and I had gone to N. Canton to see fireworks on the 4th and were mildly disappointed in the show and figured that was it for fireworks for us this year as we aren't planning on going to Lakeside for Labor Day as we have in the past. Surprisingly, as we drove to the lake for our mission trip, we were informed that their fireworks show, out over Lake Erie, was postponed due to high winds and would instead be done on the 5th, the day we happened to be arriving. It was pretty neat to see the fireworks up close- though the kids weren't as excited (Micah cried most of the entire time... periodically taking a break to ask if we could go home) I tried my best to get some photos but with a child in one arm and no tripod for a camera with a zoom lense (I NEVER thought we would be as close as we were (they were literally right above us at times) I didn't get too many but am still happy with what I did manage. So... I thought I would share a few that stuck out as our favorites (Micah likes them much better this way ;) )
