of the year!! Yes, I LOVE fall... the cooler temps, the leaves, the fresh smell in the air, apple pies, pumpkins, mums, halloween, thanksgiving... ahhh... if I could stop the seasonal change, I would do it during the months of fall. Of course we are having warmer weather yesterday and today than we did the last few weeks of summer but I have faith cooler temps will prevail! :)
Our lives have been crazy busy as usual... fall means youth starts back up with means Tim is no longer home most of the day on Sundays, KIDMO which means I am gone a few hours on Sunday's twice a month, soccer, brithday parties, photo shoots, football, gymnastics... craziness! I did however get the chance to go out with some friends over the weekend and it was great to relax a bit without the kids (they stayed with the daddies while the girls played!)
Micah is doing great in school- he still loves it and consistently brings home outstanding papers. He has had two spelling tests and he has aced them on the pretest which is given Monday before they even see the words. Now if we could just get him to take his time on things his handwriting would be neater and maybe he wouldn't forget the little things and school would be even better.
Addie loves preschool... she is my little social butterfly. I love the fact Addie is such a loving child- she just has a gentle caring spirit that overflows to everyone around here. She is crushed if she thinks she hurt someone (she cried coming home from a birthday party the other day b/c she accidentally took two goldfish cracker packs and she worried that someone else didn't get theirs) and hurts when other people hurt. Ad always remembers to thank God for the little things in life (even ceilings...) and I only wish I had the same connection with life she possesses.
Silas is a growing boy... not that it should surprise anyone ;) I think he is somewhere near 19 lbs! and is full of rolls. He is SUCH a happy baby... he absolutely loves people and gets sad when he thinks no one is paying attention to him. Unfortunately he is still spitting up (even cereal) but that is just par for the course now. We have finished one box of rice cereal and just started Oatmeal the other day... which he loves but... well I just need to get Tim to upload the video. Lets say that I forsee goggles and an overcoat for future feeding sessions. I can't believe he is almost 5 months... I am trying to treasure every moment but man, it is going too fast!
I have finally committed to getting back in shape... I have ran three times in the past week, lifted and did the arc at the Y as well. I want to be healthy and if I don't start now, it will be harder and harder as the years pass by. It isn't easy but not too many things in life ever are.
