So... Tim reworked Micah's computer last nite and then somehow the parental settings weren't locked in when Micah was on the internet today. He enjoys making movies on IMovie and today was no different only he had the whole internet to search for images for his movie. Both Tim and I laughed at the searches he submitted... it is more or less our summer in a nutshell. To give you a small sampling (and if you are wondering if he ever forgets anything... the answer is a resounding NO!)
Lakeside, Cedar St (where we stay when we are there), Best Western (hotel we stayed in on a trip), Atlantic Beach, North Carolina (vacation this summer), Pine Knoll Shores (town we were in on vacation, ESPN, Chelsea soccer club (Tim's fav. European soccer team), Franklin, Noggin, Louisville, Louisville Elementary, Louisville Roar, Louisville football, our address (actually typed out our address...), KIDMO (children's program at church), Starlight Rescue (VBS this summer), Marblehead (near Lakeside... where we get ice cream), Virginia (drove through on way to vacation), Prime One Outlets (what can I say... I like outlet shopping), Barack Obama (and he spelled this the right way), Borders (he loves to read), Nintendo DS, England (coach from soccer camp was from England, Ohio River, God Squad (Bible club he goes to when we are at Lakeside), West Virginia (drove through on way to vacation), Yo Gabba Gabba (tv show he likes), Mobile Me, Nike, Atlantic Ocean, Webkinz, Louisville Leopards Football, and so on... with all of them spelled correctly and then the pictures he downloaded were put into categories such as stores, sports, vacation, etc... and loaded into a slide show. You might be asking where I was during this time... feeding Silas and then making dinner- all in plain sight of him and all I really knew was he was making me a video. If I can figure out how to get that off his computer... I will share it as well.
He continues to amaze me... and makes me just wonder where life will lead him.

(and if you hear a scream tomorrow about 4pm (which is when he is allowed on the computer after his homework is complete) don't worry as it is just Micah finding out that Google is now blocked as are all websites that don't pertain to kids ;) )

was he upset when he found out?
when we were there a couple of weekends ago he was setting us up to be followers of his blog...He tried to con me into telling him how to set up his own e-mail account. lol
He said to me that he really wanted an e-mail account but he kept asking his mom for one but he wasn't allowed to have one yet. Then he proceeded to ask me what I used for my e-mail and how you make an account and really tried to pull that info out of me. LOL Sneaky Boy! I just told him that he would have to wait to until his mom was there to say it was ok and to help him!
