I love the build up to Christmas... the decorating, the music, the baking, the spirit, the shopping... everything about it... which makes me all the more sad when everything goes by in a blur and it is over before it seems to have even begun. Another Christmas has come and in about two hours, it will be gone and all I can do is wait in anticipation for next year to roll around. I guess it hit me even more this year as it is the last time we will be celebrating one of our child's first Christmas's... why does time have to pass so quickly? It was amazing to watch the wonder and excitement in not only his eyes but the eyes of Micah and Addison as well. I love their childlike wonder and the squeals of delight that were let out with each package they opened. Every little smile made every crazy moment worth it. I love those kids and I wouldn't have wanted to spend Christmas morning any other way.
