Yes it is January. Yes the Christmas decorations are put away. No I did not ever post about Christmas 2009 so... better late than never... right?
Christmas 09 was busy as usual. Kicked off with a trip to PA for the extended Coffman family Christmas (my Dad's sisters/brothers and their respective families) Big snow storm on the way and in hindsight, we probably shouldn't have driven in those conditions but we made it and had a nice time.
Next was our Christmas eve. Micah sang with the choir during service and then we headed to Tim's Mom's for our traditional Christmas Eve story telling. We read "The Night Before Christmas" visited a bit and then left to get the kids home and into bed. Christmas morning came too quickly (esp. when Tim wasn't felling well making the work compound on me) but Santa def. visited. It was SO fun to watch Christmas through the eyes of the kids. Both Micah and Addison were just giddy with excitement... and Silas... he just had a blast attaching the gifts and sharing his new found skill of standing up with support.
