Real fun title- eh? I couldn't think of one so this will have to suffice.
Today was a bit overcast and stormy looking off and on so we had to forgo swimming for the time being. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit cooler so probably no swimming then either- BUT- we do have a fun trip planned to Jackson park with some friends of ours. :) Afterwards I think we are going to their house to play cards and just hang out- I am excited to get out just for fun again :)
Since there wasn't much to do outside today, I took the oppurtunity to have some fun with Micah while Addie napped. We learned about the letter X and made a water xylophone- which he had lots of fun with :) I need to do these things more often- he just LOVES to learn things and I need to take advantage of it while he has interest.
Micah and I made up cookie dough early in the day and then baked cutouts tonite. He is quite the little baker- we had a lot of fun! Of course he had to sample a number of cookies- right before bed time. LOL. Thankfully he still went down quite easily (unlike Ms. Addie) and hopefully sleeps in nice and late tomorrow.
I found a new WONDERFUL area of light in our house- in Addie's bedroom. She put up quite the fight at nap time- tried crying and turning on her charm to have me rescue her- but as she stood there begging, I instead noticed how the light coming in her side window made her eyes just sparkle and dance with joy. I ran down and grabbed my camera and was able to get some great pics in before she grew tired of me and laid down and went to sleep.
Tim and I are up watching a movie tonite- nothing real thrilling though- hence the reason I am blogging at the same time ;) I figured I could share a few pics and chat for a bit and not miss too much. Of course Tim just asked me if I saw something- so I guess I should share the pictures and actually pay attention ;) Most of the pictures are from swimming yesterday- when Micah was being insane and wanting water thrown in his face. If nothing else- I got some pictures out of it :)

Still love the new pics of Addie. I can't believe how much that she has changed from being a baby. Seriously over the last couple of months she has really turned into a little girl and not so much as a baby girl.
