Weekend Update

Wow- the weekend went by so quickly! Maybe it was because we were so busy or maybe it was because we lost an hour- no matter the reason- I still can't believe it and Monday are already complete. Phew!

Our weekend started Friday- our day of errands. We made a big Target trip (oh how I LOVE my Target store!) and purchased something like this (they don't have exactly what we bought online) and these (pink, green and yellow) to hold some more of the kid's toys. We also picked up various other Target goodies- you just can't leave that store without browsing through and finding things you didn't go there for!). Besides Target, we also hit BRU, Walmart, and Giant Eagle- nothing real thrilling at those stores- but they were necessities. After finally arriving home, we assembled the storage unit (very late at nite) and tried it a thousand different ways until "I" was pleased.
Saturday morning came along and I was awakened by a call from Walmart alerting me that my glasses were in and ready for pick-up. Woo Hoo!! I have been without for quite awhile now and I had to go get them so I could finally see again at nite time. After Walmart and another quick GE trip, I came home and made Cutout Easter Cookies (btw- aren't blue and red supposed to make purple- b/c for me- they made brown) and got ready for our little get-together with friends that evening. Everyone came a little after six and we just sat and talked about anything and everything- it is always so fun to get together with everyone! Micah and Addie had a great time with Jeremiah and can't wait for him to come play again.
Sunday morning came waaay to early- who signed us up for nursery duty on the day we loose an hour of sleep? ;) Luckily there weren't too many there at first- people sort of trickeled in and we all had a good time playing and cuddling the little ones. Following church was Sunday School and then home for a quick lunch. I never did get a nap that day- guess I just got too busy doing nothing to take time for that- opps!! At three Tim was off for youth and came home around 8:30. Fun times. Quick phone call with my parents and a long team meeting at my CT site and then off to sleep (waaaaay too late I might add).
Today was a pretty quiet day around here- Tim's usual day off though he has been doing the video project work here at home. I ran out to Walmart before lunch to get my glasses adjusted since the stupid tech. didn't do it Sat. and they were crooked, and then went into Target to get another storage unit for the Laundry Room. Came home, relaxed a bit and then started cooking dinner. Tim's parents came over to celebrate his dad's birthday and although Micah was a bit of a pill, we had a good time. Cheeseburger soup, salad, and fresh bread was perfect for the chilly, grey day it turned out to be. After they left we watched a bit of TV and then put together the storage unit and now, here I am. Real thrilling- eh?

Tomorrow should be a relaxed day for the most part- I want to run out to Green Farms and get some fresh broccolli, potatoes, grapes and bananas but other than that- not much planned. I can't wait in all honesty! I am thinking I may try to scrap a page or so and maybe make some more cookies since the others are gone. It is supposed to be grey and cold again- so no outside time for us :(
I don't really have much else to add, but I figured since Lindsay asked, I would give a recap of the weekend and hope you were all entertained. In closing, I will share a page I created this weekend about Micah's park outing this past week. Enjoy :)

OH I love those little storage things, I really want to go to Target, but probably won't be until I make a trip out to my parent's house. Since the nearest one is 50 miles away now. Actually more than that.
    Very cute layout of Micah!
