Yes it is a few days late... yes I am back dating... BUT, I promise she wasn't forgotten on the actual day of her birth. We just happened to be at the Lake for a week and I was unable to get more than a sketchy internet connection- which prevented me from updating throughout the week. So... I am going to post four or so entries today- but backdated to their respective dates to try and keep some semblance of order ;)
So, June 16th, Ms. Addison turned the big "2" years old. It was a low key day, being that we had already had her "party" the week before, we didn't plan on making too much of a big deal on the actual day. We had dinner with the family (Tim's mom, sister and family) and then went and got ice cream and headed to a new playground on the island. The kids had a blast and Addie showed us that she is going to be even more fearless now that she is two ;) LOL.
After we made it home, it was bath time and then time for some frosted brownies (Addie's pick) and a few presents for her to open. She received some cute outfits from her Aunt/Uncle and cousins (one of which was Strawberry Shortcake that she had to wear to bed, the next day and the shirt even part of the next day before I pried it off of her). She also received a little Build a Bear monkey that matches her big BAB monkey :) All in all- she had a great time.
She loved everyone singing to her and then we all feasted on brownies before heading to bed.
