Actually, the first snowfall came in perfect timing... my big Christmas shopping trip with a friend. There is nothing quite like driving out to buy presents for family and friends with a sparkling blanket of white slowly piling up around you. It (plus the wonderful Christmas music I was listening to) definitely got me in the right mindset for the season. Now if only I had a fireplace...
