Today was the day I finally relented and allowed the kids to go outside and play in the fresh snow. Of course it just so happened that we were only about 45 mins from the sun going down so I knew time was limited (which meant light was limited for photos... flash and snow furiously falling don't work and slow shutter speeds and moving kids don't work well so... a lot of low quality photos resulted) Surprisingly, Silas outlasted everyone... and cried when he was carried in almost an hour (yes, it was completely dark) after he went outside. From snowangels to forts and throwing snow up in the air to make it fall back down... a TON of fun was had by all. They can't wait for tomorrow (and have taken all of the necessary steps to insure a snow day... ) to head back out and start it all over again.
