from our fun outside :) Enjoy!
Here are a few and then a link to a slideshow of more.
The broom was my first measuring tool- LOL. It started 2 hours after it started snowing and the last one there was about 4:30 pm today. I have another picture that isn't in there yet- it is up on the bristles. The last actual measurement in our yard was around 16 inches- non drifted snow. We had bare grass yesterday morning at 11. Everything has shut down... churches closed, no postal service, malls shut down... Anyway... we had fun and already have more plans for tomorrow.
He is standing in a drift in the first one here. He isn't down to the ground- prob. on about 5 inches- it is packed pretty hard and he didn't sink down.
In some of the others- where it doesn't look like a lot of snow- that is a road. The big piles are drifts and plow piles from the church parking lot. We ended up sledding down them... had a ton of fun :)

I would give anything for 16 inches. LOL IT's 33in. here. AAKKK> what were we thinking moving back to the snowbelt. it's like we never left Iceland. Matt actually got the van stuck in the driveway and I attempted to snowblow it when he was gone.....oh that's another story. Just tyler telling mommy not to cry. lol
