How your baby's growing:
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of his head to his heels. He can blink his eyes, which now sport lashes. With his eyesight developing, he may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.So... wonder what a "Chinese Cabbage" looks like?
On a more personal note, I passed my glucose screening (even with flat nasty orange drink) BUT I did find out I am severely anemic and have to go get two kinds of medication for that. It doesn't sound as if it is a huge deal but, it might be the answer to the extreme exhaustion I have still been feeling.
I scheduled my 30 wk ultrasound as well... to hopefully show an healthy and properly positioned placenta. I haven't had any issues thus far so I truly believe that things have already been taken care of, but it will be nice to know either way from the US. Seems crazy that 30 wks. is right around the corner, but yet May 5th (or the end of April) definitely still seems to be really far away.

Crazy how big the baby is getting! Missed you at MOMS....I was anemic w/Mackenzie. I ate LOTS and LOTS of spinach salads and it helped tremendously!! Hope you like spinach :)))

I love the fruits and vegetables that they come up with. Our little girl's latest description was that she is the same weight as a rutabaga :)

Pam had placenta previa when she was pregnant with Mara. It happened that she had to have a c section to deliver her. She had a pretty normal pregnancy other then a total previa. I am sure things are fine! It's crazy to think about only 10 wks. or less until he is here!
